Twisters plan Listening Party for Saturday

Posted on Wed, Aug 16, 2006 at 10:40 AM

The Arkansas Twisters management is inviting all the fans out to Julie's Place on Shackleford Road on Saturday night for a listening party. The team will be way out in the northwest, playing the Spokane Shock in Spokane with a 9 p.m. (CDT) kickoff for the Arena Football 2 National Conference Championship.

The winner moves on to the Arena Football 2 championship game the following week. The Twisters (12-6) have spent the playoffs on the road, winning at Oklahoma City 47-43 and last Saturday in Tulsa 53-51. Spokane, at 15-2, will be a handful. The game is being carried on KABZ-FM "The Buzz." The listening party at Julie's is free.
