Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey’s 135th Greatest Show on Earth has arrived at Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, and the first show is at 7 p.m. tonight. There’s a single show tomorrow at 7 p.m., three on Saturday (11 a.m., 3 p .m. and 7 p.m.) and two on Sunday (1 p.m. and 5 p.m.). Tickets start at $14. Merchandise is where you’re going to be hit hard by the kiddies, and by the hawkers. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

But check out those elephants getting hosed down outside Alltel yesterday. And check out the feature story in the online and print editions on Karin Houcke, animal trainer and daughter of acclaimed circus trainer Sacha Houcke, who leads the elephants, horses and more.
