Here’s the deal: former UA basketball manager Doc Sadler (Nebraska) and onetime Fayetteville resident Scott Sutton (Oral Roberts) could develop into very good NCAA D-1 coaches in time — Sadler did win 20 games two straight years a UTEP and went 17-14 this year at Nebraska — but they would be about as far away from “big time” now as Arkansas could get in its basketball search. And yet, somehow, we get the sinking suspicion the Hogs are probably going to end up with one or the other. The Omaha World-Herald thinks Sadler might get a call from the UA, for other than offering advice on other coaches, as he did recently with Billy Gillispie, who turned Frank Broyles down.
