Cinco de Mayo, yo

Posted By on Fri, May 4, 2007 at 4:31 PM

Before we pack it in for the weekend, we'd be remiss if we didn't remind you this is the weekend of Cinco de Mayo, the holiday when all our relocated Mexican neighbors get their Independence Day freak on.

While you can venture to Southwest Little Rock to get the full effect, the big, official party this weekend will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at the River Market and Riverfront Amphitheater in Little Rock.  Last year's party was a blast, with music, food, over 100 vendors and a crowd of over 15,000 in attendance.  Admission is $5 for adults. Kids under 12 get in free.
