Finally: “Towncraft”  premieres tonight at Riverdale 10. Director Richard Matson said only a dozen tickets remain and suggested showing up to the box office early – around 6:30 p.m. – if you want to snag a seat. Tickets are $20, or if you’ve previously purchased an all-access “Towncraft” button, don’t forget to wear it. Movie starts at 7 p.m. sharp. He also mentioned that tonight’s screening is not part of the Little Rock Film Festival. Tomorrow night, film fest go-ers can get into the 6:15 p.m. showing of “Towncraft” with their all-access passes. A Q& A with Matson follows.

To get you pumped, check out the trailer (again).

Power-pop rockers Ashtray Babyhead (pictured above, back in the day) play the after-party at Vino's.

Since last fall, Memphis rap duo Lord Treadwell and Maurice Eloise XIII have been introducing common folks to what they're calling “aristocrunk.” Donning 18th-century wigs and ruffled attire, Lord T (Cameron Mann) and Eloise (Robert Anthony) spit tongue-in-cheek lyrics about popping “Pillz” and wearing “Million Dollar Boots.” Mann, who was called the “whitest of white-boy rappers” while enrolled at Tulane University, runs Memphis recording studio Young Avenue Sound, serving artists such as Yo Gotti, Ying Yang Twins, 8Ball & MJG and Al Kapone.
