Take it away

We have a family crowd arriving shortly for dinner, so I'm going to have to leave the blogging to the world tonight. Your turn.

What's cooking? Peppered ham, squash casserole, broccoli slaw, sliced tomatoes, home-made yeast rolls, "Elvis' favorite pound cake" (pictured) smothered with Arkansas strawberries and some other odds and ends. Some day when I have time I'll put this squash recipe on the Eat Arkansas blog. I've hardly ever served it to a first-timer who didn't want the recipe and then subsequently used it often -- squash, onion, cheddar cheese, flour, eggs, milk, butter, salt, pepper.
