Monopoly beans and grains

Says here that the Federal Trade Commission is going to sue to block the merger of Whole Foods with Wild Oats. The idea seems to be that it would be anti-competitive to create such a dominant chain in the organic foods business. While monopolists in many other endeavors are allowed to flourish.

The longer this merger is delayed, the longer LR seems likely to have a Wild Oats in WLR. After the merger, the outlook isn't so certain.
