That smiling grilled fish was plated up at the Black Olive, a Greek restaurant in the Fells Point neighborhood of Balitmore. Blog reader Johanna Miller Lewis, the UALR history prof, sends along the image from a trip back to her hometown, where Chesapeake crabs are next on the agenda. Says Dr. Lewis: "The specialty of the house is whole fish, which they showcase fresh on ice in a marble drainer.  Yes, the waiter actually makes you get up and go look at the fish and explains what each fish is, how many people it will serve, and its origins."

We're always happy to share bounty discovered by Arkansas travelers.
