Billy Bob, increasingly taken seriously as a musician and John Carter Cash goes to Dyess

He even looks the part. All Music Guide editor Stephen Thomas Erlewine interviews Thornton on his new album, "The Beautiful Door," how he was the only kid on the block listening to Frank Zappa growing up (shocker!) and how his mother playing Ray Price, Jim Reeves and Timi Yuro (!!) influenced him.

Also: CNN reports that John Carter Cash, son of Johnny and June, is in Dyess, searching for traces of his dad and picking cotton.
