Good luck food on the first

From Joel DiPippa:

Happy New Year!

This time of year still has food traditions as we begin the new calendar year. Tuesday night, all of the family that lives in Little Rock got together for a meal of good luck food.  This means I got to keep working on the settings of the new camera and take some food pictures.  From left to right, we had grilled kielbasa over sauerkraut, the bowl of black-eyed peas, a plate of grilled turkey kielbasa (for a lower sodium intake), a large bowl of boiled red cabbage with some feta cheese and crumbled pecans on top, and down front some star fruit.  Okay, the star fruit is just something we like and has not become a tradition ... yet.
