Kyoto Boom

Formed: July 07.

From: Little Rock

Members:
Duke Boyne, Scott Cook and Dave Raymond.

Sounds like: New wave/post-punk goodness. Or as the band's MySpace page says, "the whoosh of ladies undergarments flyin though the air."

Pedigreed: Everybody previously played in a big time band. Boyne in BE. Cook in Ashtray Babyhead and the Kicks. Raymond in Mulehead.

Albums: They've got a wealth of demos, which hopefully means an album is coming.

Where you'll find them: Counterpoint on March 14. The Village on March 15, and White Water on April 5.

Music:

"Hi-Yaa"
