Linkage: Iggy does Madonna, post-'Wire', FNL and Megazoid

Posted By on Tue, Mar 11, 2008 at 10:15 AM

At last night's Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame inductions Madonna recruited Iggy Pop and the Stooges, who still haven't been inducted in the HOF, to perform "Ray of Light" and "Burnin' Up." The horror! From a cell phone camera or something.

Still drifting in a post-"Wire" malaise? New York magazine's Vulture blog has comprehensive post-show coverage. Biggest WTF? reveal. Randy Wagstaff was Cheese Wagstaff's son. More goodies on the Playlist.

Looks like "Friday Night Lights" has been saved in a partnership deal between NBC and DirecTV.

On Sasha Frere-Jone's recommendation, I downloaded this new Megazoid mixtape. Lazer-bass rap remixes. Yes.
