Scotch Eggs

Posted By on Thu, Apr 3, 2008 at 12:55 PM

If anyone is interested in trying a new fried dish, I just ran across this recipe for Scotch Eggs. Basically, you take a hard-boiled egg, cover it in sausage, then bread it, fry it, and eat it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen some interesting fried dishes (queen of fried Paula Deen once wrapped a chilled piece of macaroni and cheese in bacon and THEN friend it), but this one actually looks pretty appealing, and I'm inclined to try it out.

Has anyone actually had these before?

Maybe it's something in the air (other than that nasty pollen), but recently I've been spending more time in my kitchen and baking.

Well, it's been quite a while since I last posted. Things like, oh, taking part of the bar exam, getting a bad stomach flu, and just general business have kept me away.

All my monkey bread experiences in the past have been with sweet monkey bread, so when I saw the recipe for this savory monkey bread, I had to try it.
