The Damn Bullets in blur.

Here's a little something different: Root Cafe, a spot aimed at building community through locally produced food, will hold a one year pre-anniversary fund-raiser bash at Arkansas Flag and Banner, 800 W. Ninth St., with food, door prizes and music from rapper Juggernaut Glitch and folk miscreants Damn Bullets, 8 p.m., $5.

Fayetteville blues act the Eoff Brothers Band headlines at Sticky Fingerz, 9:30 p.m., $5.

Jazz standouts the Ted Ludwig Trio perform at the Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5.

Local metal act the Weeping Gate plays Juanita's with Marca and the Brotherhood, 9 p.m., $7.

Memphis rockers Yes/No/Maybe come to Cajun's, 9 p.m., $5.

Comedian Ben Creed opens a two-night run at the Looney Bin, 8 p.m., $6.

At the Big Green house, across from Pizza D, “Gimme Green,” a documentary about America's lawn obsession, screens for free, every 45 minutes, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:45.
