PlayRadioPlay, a much-hyped one-man band from Ft. Worth, comes to Juanita's tonight, 8 p.m., $12-$15.  The one man is 18-year-old Dan Hunter. Despite the acoustic guitar above, he's about earnest electro-pop. With a straight-edge.

Here are a few of his bonafides:

One of Rolling Stones "Artists to Watch in 2008".
His song "Madi Don't Leave" is the featured (read: free to PC users) song on's music store.

Secondhand Serenade, Making April and Rookie of the Year are also on the bill.

OR: g-force is at Deep spinning up the jams, 9:30 p.m.

Former "Rockstar Supernova" stand-out Patrice Pike is at Sticky Fingerz, 8:30 p.m.,
