Ween.

UPDATE: The Fayetteville Flyer, the go-to source for Fayetteville A&E news, reports that the Good Fear, Damn Bullets and Memphis Pencils are playing the grand opening tonight of Club Froggy, which used to be the Gypsy.   The Arkansas Music Pavilion has a full slate of big names this weekend in Fayetteville.

Thursday: Cross Canadian Ragweed
Friday: Ween
Saturday: Pat Benatar

And of course, the Ravenwood Steam Punk festival that David Koon writes about in this week's A&E lead, gets going on Friday at George's.

In Corinth, Miss., just outside of Memphis, Lucero headlines the Slugburger Festival on Saturday night. John T. Edge had a great column in the Oxford American several years back about slug burgers. If memory serves, they're burgers, rooted in the Depression, made of patties with a lot of flour mixed in with the beef. A distant cousin to Krystals.
