Thursday: Love or Perish, Ted Ludwig, the Boondogs and more

The Boondogs

New York punks Love or Perish perform at White Water with local garage-rock band the Weisenheimers, 9 p.m., $5.

Local rock cover group Typhoid Mary headlines at Cajun's Wharf, 9 p.m., $5.

Ted Ludwig kicks off his busy night at the Capital Bar and Grill with bassist Joe Cripps, 5 p.m., free. Later, the duo becomes a trio at the Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5.

The Boondogs play their semi-regular gig at Box Turtle as part of Hillcrest's “Shop 'n' Sip,” 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., free.

Comedian Dale Jones headlines at the Loony Bin, 8 p.m., $6. He'll be there all weekend.
