BLVD.
From San Francisco, BLVD specializes in electro-funk jam at Sticky Fingerz. “Conscious wordsmith” MC Souleye opens, 10 p.m., $5.

At On the Rocks, tuneful indie rockers Deas Vail perform with the rock collective Bear Colony, 8 p.m., $5.

From Conway, new act Modal Wayward plays psychedelic rock at Juanita's with Beau Nixon and Shelly Joe and Phillip, 9 p.m., $5.

Local party band Mr. Happy headlines at Cajun's, 9 p.m., $5.

And Ted Ludwig and Joe Cripps start out at the Capital Bar, 5:00 p.m., and evolve into a Trio at the Afterthought, 8:30 p.m., $5.
