A reason to keep that HBO subscription a little longer: Arkansas native David Gordon Green ("Pineapple Express," "All the Real Girls") is helming most of the six episodes of "East Bound and Down," a comedy starring Danny McBride ("Pineapple Express," "Tropic Thunder") as a washed up major leaguer who's forced to return to his North Carolina hometown and take a job as a high school P.E. teacher. Will Ferrell has a supporting role. The series airs in February and March.

There's some great on-set stuff at Slash Film.
