Loch Ness Monster

Formed: Way back when as Nessie. Lead singer Sulac, the new ingredient, came on board in early 2007.

From: Little Rock

Album: The band's debut, "Eleven Traditional Songs," came out last year on Max Recordings. In his review in the Times, Charles Wyrick called it "a twisted, rollicking, hell-ride of a rock record."

Sounds like: Post-punk noise, but catchy.

Where you'll find 'em: Vino's, White Water, all over.
