Nik and Sam

Live debut: At age 11, five years ago.

From: Dover, just outside of Russellville.

Backing band: Christopher Lee, Jeremy Huddleston, Richard Seitan (the girls' father).

Album: The duo, who's signed to a development deal with Warner Bros., has been working on an album, in L.A. and Nashville, since last year. They're hoping to release it in the not-too-distant future.

Sounds like: Radio ready country pop.

Don't mistake them for a marketing gimmick: They're identical twins. They're 16. They're cute. But they're also real musicians. They both sing. They both write. Nik plays guitar and sings lead. Sam plays banjo and dobro and sings harmony and a little lead.

Check the bluegrass breakdown in this mini doc about the duo.
