Riverfest odds and ends

*Before you pony up $25 for admission, make sure you've checked local Cranford Markets, City Markets, Wendy's and Central Arkansas Big Red stores. Here's a list of all locations.

*The trolley is free all weekend.

*For $2, you can take a shuttle from War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock or  North Little Rock High School north and get dropped off near the Riverfest gates. Get all the details below.

*You can bring umbrellas, just not cane umbrellas. Presumably cane umbrellas are mainly for hiding drugs and knives. Little Rock:
The Little Rock shuttle will depart from the east side of War Memorial Stadium at Markham and Van Buren Streets in Little Rock and will drop off on La Harpe Avenue behind the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Building.  Return shuttles to will pick up in Little Rock where they dropped off.

North Little Rock:
The North Little Rock shuttle will pick up at the North Little Rock High School north parking lot in North Little Rock. From the north, you can enter the parking lot at Pershing and Orange. If entering from the south, turn left on 22nd street and then right on Victory Lane. Riders will be dropped off at 2nd and Cumberland Street in Little Rock. Return shuttles to North Little Rock will pick up in Little Rock where they dropped off.

Some shuttle vehicles are wheelchair accessible.
Shuttle hours:
Friday, May 22. 5:30 p.m. through close of last event
Saturday, May 23. 9:30 a.m. through close of last event
Sunday, May 24 11:30 a.m. through close of last event
Shuttles will operate for 30 to 45 minutes following the close of the last event, allowing time for riders to return to the pick-up points. Passengers will board the bus for their return trip at the same location they got off the bus.
Shuttle fare: Round trip shuttle $2.00

To travel between Little Rock and North Little Rock while visiting the festival you may walk across the Main Street Bridge or the Junction Bridge.  The CATA River Rail Trolley will also be transporting festival-goers across the bridge. Standard shuttle fees apply.  Both bridges will close to all traffic at 9:00 Sunday evening for the fireworks display, but will re-open shortly after the show to allow foot traffic between the two cities.
