"I doubt it'll end up on there. But who knows? Maybe as a Wal-Mart bonus track or something. I love Wal-Mart." Kris Allen, possibly angling for a big pay day for a shareholder's meeting appearance, on the chances "No Boundaries" will appear on his debut album. [MTV]

"After Mr. Lambert’s master class, the meek and limited Mr. Allen could do little but act as a palate cleanser, sending fans into the night with a few benign tunes." Number one Kris Allen-hater Jon Caramanica, in a review of "Idols Live" in Newark on Aug. 10. Later, Caramanica said that the Killer' "All These Things That I've Done" was a "tough and flamboyant song that [Allen] guilelessly massaged the lumps out of." [New York Times]

"Long Island was bangin' tonight. Almost stepped in a huge pile of horse feces." The sort of gems you get from Kris Allen's Twitter feed. [KrisAllen4Real]
