Korto got robbed

I'm still waiting to catch the show on TiVo, but that's the word on the web. As of late this afternoon, 58% of voters on the popular Blogging Project Runway think she should've won, compared to 8% for the winner, Daniel Vosovic, who took home $100,000. Entertainment Weekly's Pop Watch Blog is peeved, too.

See, I told you there was some subtext to her quote in the Dem-Gaz.

Here's what Korto told People following the defeat:

“I put a lot of time and work into this away from my family and, yes, I wanted to win. I feel like I should have won but in my heart I knew they weren’t going to give it to me. I made sure I had a collection [the judges] would have no negative comments for — and there were none. There was nothing wrong my with collection.”

  • Janet Jackson at Verizon Arena: A Review

Her dance abilities had clearly diminished, as they naturally would over two decades. I mean, she's 50. And has a newborn. I get it, but it's like they're grasping at recreating 20 year-old Janet instead of focusing on what makes 50 year-old Janet amazing, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terribly disappointed.
