Ray McKinnon to own fall

Posted By on Tue, Sep 1, 2009 at 4:26 PM

"Randy and the Mob" is out on DVD today. Little Rock's Ray McKinnon wrote, directed and stars — twice, as twins — in the small town comedy. McKinnon's wife, Lisa Blount, co-stars, memorably, too.

In mid-November, McKinnon's bound to get some attention for his impressive turn as  in Scott Teems' slow-burn drama "That Evening Sun." It's opening then in New York and L.A., before a nationwide roll-out.

Then, on Nov. 20, he plays the coach in the adaptation of Michael Lewis' book on Michael Oher, "The Blind Side." It's a great book that I could easily see em turning into a cartoon of a movie. Either way, a lot of people will catch it.

Yep, just watched the trailer. It'll make you squirm.
