Probably Little Rock's greatest ever bar band, Smoke Up Johnny, called it quits back in July, but promised to temper the blow by letting loose demoes from its much-anticipated sophomore album. And now they have with ten songs that hit on all their favorite themes — drunkenness, loud music, love gone wrong — with just the right measure of expert riffage and sloppy good times.

Download via Thick Syrup Records.

At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, White Water and Thick Syrup host a listening party.

So clear your calendar and come out and kick the guys in the ass and tell them about the hole they've left in your heart.

And sing along.
