Daughtry coming in December

Fourth-place "American Idol" vet turned post-grunge hero Chris Daughtry brings his band Daughtry (a name that took some thinkin on) to Arkansas for two shows in December — Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro and  Friday, Dec. 18, at Verizon Arena.

Theory of a Deadman and Cavo open.

Tickets go on-sale on Saturday.

UPDATE: Tickets, which run $31.25 and $41.25, go on-sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Verizon Arena box office.
