I know hardcore Lucero fans were all over this, but it slipped my mind: The band's major label debut, "1372 Overton Park" came out on Tuesday.

You can stream it here.

The band's unveiling the horn section that's such an integral part of the new album tonight with a free concert at the Levitt Shell in Memphis. Amy LaVere and Cedric Burnside and Lightnin' Malcolm open. Damn.

The Memphis Flyer previews the show and talks to the band about the new album this week.

Here's what Brian Venable had to say about incorporating horns: "We were worried [the album] would be a little too jammy, so that gave us a direction. It gave us something to focus on. It became our soul record, our Memphis record."

ALSO: There are three new fan-made videos on the band's website, none of which are as good as that first muppet-ish one. There's one that's technically cool, but a bit boring where a tattoo book represents lyrics, one about a fat beer fairy and one that's just kind of road/band montage.
