Wednesday: Columbus Short, Lucious Spiller, not much else

Posted By on Wed, Oct 28, 2009 at 10:17 AM

UPDATE: Illness is everywhere. Because of it, Short had to postpone until 7 p.m., Nov. 5. Same spot.

Tonight as part of Philander Smith's "Bless the Mic: Chopped and Screwed" lecture series, actor Columbus Short speaks in ML Harris Auditorium, 7 p.m. He's been in films like "Stomp the Yard" and "This Christmas," and he was pretty good as Little Walter in "Cadillac Records." He's choreographed for Britney Spears, too.

At Sticky Fingerz, the Lucious Spiller Band performs and there's cheap drinks, 9:30 p.m., $5.
