Blog reader anoncow pointed out another area eatery that's saying goodbye. The Station Grocery will close its doors this weekend after its short run at Markham and Kavanaugh. Rather than just fading away, the grocery and restaurant will have one final party Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live entertainment, gift baskets, a holiday menu and lots of final day sales. More information on the jump.

Oh, almost missed it -- a comment at the bottom of the restaurant's Facebook page confirms that The Station will live on in one fashion:

"The Station will still be taking catering requests & box lunch orders for delivery. Please call 501.442.8308 or email us at thestationgrocery@gmail.com"

From the establishment's Facebook page:

Join the Station for its last day. There will be holiday music performed by local musicians, a local craft market, gift baskets for sale, a holiday menu, & special holiday events. Not only will we be celebrating the holidays, but we will be saying goodbye to our loyal customers, whom we have been so thankful for. Everything in the store will be 10% to 40% off. So come on down for our last hoorah!
