Decadent Night.

Posted By on Tue, Feb 9, 2010 at 8:12 AM

The seventh annual Chocolate Fantasty Ball's coming up this weekend at The Peabody Hotel.  The big fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House brings a whole world of chocolate to an evening of splendor, with its signature Chocolate Martini, dinner and decadent dessert buffet.  It's more than a chance to enjoy more chocolate than yo could conceivably consume; it's a celebration of the work of one of Arkansas' favorite charities.  Tickets start at $100 -- the event is Saturday night starting at six.  More on the event on the jump.

The release:

Your sweetie will satisfy their sweet tooth with decadent dessert buffets filled with tantalizing truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, cakes, brownies and a fountain overflowing with warm milk chocolate surrounded by fresh fruits and cakes for dipping. The bar even participates in the theme with a Godiva Chocolate Martini as the signature drink.

The chocolate themed evening also includes a seated dinner and live and silent auctions that always include some very enticing items.

Guest speaker for the event is a family who has stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. Sharing their experience of having an ill child and their time in the Ronald McDonald House, the family gives guests a better idea of what struggles and victories hundreds of families go through each year.

This event features the famous Ronald McDonald House Share-A-Night auction where guests have the unique opportunity to sponsor a night, week, month or three month stay for families at the Ronald McDonald House. Guests then dance the night away to live music.

This confectionary wonder is more than just chocolate on a table, it is a night to celebrate the wonderful work of a charity that brings help and hope to families in need. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas really does make a difference, and with events as successful and entertaining as the Chocolate Fantasy Ball, RMHC AR should be able to continue its mission for years to come.

Mark your calendar now for February 13, 2010 and come experience the chocolate extravaganza.
