Cool Shoes and Spectrum organizer Cameron Holifield takes the party to Union for a free DJ set tonight. Experimental/psychedelic is how he's billing it — Brian Eno, Animal Collective, Ciccone Youth, Radiohead, Junior Boys. Poebot spins, too, 10 p.m., free.

Champaign alt-rockers Elsinore come to Juanita's with Winston Family Orchestra and We Landed on the Moon supporting, 9 p.m., $5. All ages.

Ozark bluegrass vocalist Cindy Woolf returns to the Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5.

And piano man Thomas East is at SpeakEasy, 8 p.m., free, while the Ted Ludwig Jazz Trio does its regular thing at the Capital Bar, 5 p.m., free.
