This weekend, the Natural State represented big time at SXSW with a panel featuring David Gordon Green and the premiere of "Ain't In It For My Health," a documentary about Arkansas' favorite son (here's a clip). Bill Frisell was named Best International Guitarist at the ECHO Jazz Awards for "Disfarmer," his concept album about Michael Disfarmer, the long gone Heber Springs photographer whose stark pictures of locals brought him international acclaim.

The fourth season of "True Blood" premieres on June 13, keeping those fat Showtime checks rolling down to Magnolia.
