Love for the Whatta-Burger.

Posted By on Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 1:05 PM

I know, I know, I know.  CJ's Butcher Boy Burgers has just about grabbed and cinched the title of burger king in Russellville.  Heck, I wrote that first review that snowballed into the sudden print media convergence on the little red and white building by the interstate.  Mea culpa.

But there's something so familiar, so nostalgic about Feltner's Whatta-Burger that keeps drawing me back to the plaque-and-kite filled angular building across from the Arkansas Tech University campus.  The burgers have bite.  The shakes have heft.  And the fries... well, they're plentiful.

How Feltner's keeps going, over at Serious Eats:  A Hamburger Today.
