The Union's sure to go wacko tonight with two of the wildest acts in town, Tom Sweet Band and Ace Spade & The Whores of Babylon. Both twisted, both rockin', 10 p.m., donations.

Young psych/soul/rock act (think The Make-Up) from Austin, The Hi-Tones (above) come to Juanita's alongside new Fayetteville acoustic beach pop act Goose, 9 p.m., $3.

Sonia Leigh brings her throaty roots rock to Sticky Fingerz, 8:30 p.m., $5.

White Water Tavern brings Graham Wilkinson & the Underground Township, a rootsy, jammy affair led by a Hendrix alum; it's always a huge draw, 9:30 p.m.
