Lucious Spiller (above), Sticky Fingerz' resident Wednesday night entertainment and Prince disciple provides music for their 50-cent beer night, 9:30 p.m., $5.

Speaking of Humpday mainstays, Jim Dickinson mans Sonny Williams' piano, 7 p.m., while the Ted Ludwig Trio soundtracks the clinking and sipping at Capitol Bar & Grill, 5 p.m., both free.

End of a Year, a post-hardcore act who loves namedropping in song titles (Charles Rocket, Michael Larson, Juana Maria) plays Vino's tonight, 8 p.m., $7.

Hard rock act Halestorm comes to Juanita's with South Carolinian youngsters Madam Adam and Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, who played here a few days ago with ZZ Top, 9 p.m., $12.

Ska acts (and Valley of the Vapor participants) The Heat Machine and The Last Slice return to Hot Springs tonight for a free show at Maxine's, 9 p.m.
