Taste of the Rock: Big Winners

Just got a message from the folks over at Capriccio's... the winner of the Best Taste Award over at the Little Rock Regional Chamber¹s annual Taste of the Rock, as voted by guests.   The votes were cast by the nearly 1000 guests who atteended last week's event.  More about the event, the award, and the other finishers in the competition on the jump.

Taste of the Rock Best Taste Four Years in a Row

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 25, 2010) ­ Capriccio Grill Italian Steakhouse has
been awarded Best Taste for the fourth consecutive year at the Little Rock
Regional Chamber¹s annual Taste of the Rock, as voted by guests.  The event,
which took place Thursday, May 20, was attended by 938 guests and featured
34 food and beverage vendors.

³We were thrilled with the turnout for the sixth annual Taste of the Rock,²
said Kelley Bass, chairman of the Chamber Ambassadors¹ Taste of the Rock
committee.  ³It¹s great to see some of the region¹s best restaurants,
caterers and distributors participate so the community can experience the
uniqueness and excellence of Little Rock¹s dining scene.²

Capriccio Grill¹s winning dish was grilled prime beef tenderloin on haricot
vert salad including a stone-ground mustard sauce, garnished with fried straw
potatoes.  Following Capriccio Grill in the Best Taste category are Boscos
in second place and the Hilton Little Rock in third place.  Copeland¹s took
first place in the Best Booth category, followed by Genghis Grill and Whole
