Mark at the Bar
  • Mark at the Bar

Hot Springs artist Carole Katchen has cooked up what she considers to be one of the best servings of her work to date: Cantrell Gallery's "Let's Eat!" The show, which features portraits of local chefs, closes Friday, so this is a last call. "Mark at the Bar" above is Katchen's painting of Loca Luna owner Mark Abernathy. Also on the wall: Brave New Restaurant's Peter Brave, Ashley's at the Capital's Lee Richardson and chefs at the Governor's Mansion serving the governor and his wfe and Jerry and Gene Jones. Cantrell Gallery is at 8206 Cantrell Road. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
