It's a little late to be mentioning it (the announcement came while I was on vacation) but tomorrow is the deadline for artists who'd like to sell their work to UAMS for inclusion in the new Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute to submit slides. The work should "reflect the Cancer Institute's mission of providing hope" and can be in two or three dimensions. For more information or to submit jpgs, e-mail Claire Denham at cpdenham@uams.edu. Her phone number is 296-1046.

The committee to select the work includes Denham, Henri Linton of UAPB and Brad Cushman of UALR.
