FOOD, FOOD, FOOD: Argenta Foodie Festival celebrates all things edible
  • FOOD, FOOD, FOOD: Argenta Foodie Festival celebrates all things edible

The first weekend of July isn't just about fireworks. It's also time for the Argenta Foodie Fest. This bi-annual party celebrating all things consumable kicks off at nine Saturday morning at the parking lot across from the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market at 6th and Main in North Little Rock. Live music, live vendors and a whole lot of live restaurants offering up their best in local foods and such. Bring your sunscreen and your appetite. First 500 to arrive will receive a free fan. Admission is free — but you'd better pay for your food yourself.

Of course, while you're there, go check out the Certified Arkansas Farmers Market. Should be a boom day for farmers.
