Eureka Springs hosts another culinary excursion coming up in August. It's August Taste of the Inns, the third weekend of the month. Each of seven inns will offer mocktails, appetizers and tours of their facilitiies on the tour. They'll also provide recipes for the appetizers they serve up.

Tickets are $25 per person - but if you want to also stay at one of the seven participating inns, you'd better get cracking. More info on the jump.

Offer Tasty August Tour

(EUREKA SPRINGS, AR) — The third weekend in August promises to be a treat for the taste buds as well as the eyes in this eclectic Ozarks destination. The Alliance of Better Bed & Breakfasts will present their August Taste of the Inns August 21, from 3-7 p.m.

During the gourmet tour, similar to the annual Sweet Treats Tour in December, participating inns will be providing two appetizers, “mocktails” (non-alcoholic cocktails,) and tours of their facilities. Participants will also receive recipes of the gourmet items the seven BnB’s will provide on the tour, and they may sign up for a drawing for gift certificates from local merchants and restaurants.

Participating inns are 5 Ojo Inn Bed & Breakfast, Arsenic & Old Lace B&B Inn, Bridgeford House, Crescent Cottage Inn, Heartstone Inn & Cottages, Main Street Inn, and Red Bud Manor.

Red Bud Manor will offer Mai Tai’s with Tropical Bruschetta & Hawiian Tea sandwiches. Main Street Inn will serve Tequila Sunrises with Fruit Kabobs and Pasta Kabobs. The Heartstone Inn will provide Tornado Twists with Potato Smoked Salmon, Crème Fraiche and Parmesan, and Goat Cheese. Visitors to Crescent Cottage Inn will be treated to Mock Champagne with Hot Mushroom Turnovers and Chicken Nut Puffs. Bridgeford House will serve Arnold Palmers with Pepperoni Cheese Puffs & Pound Cake Bites with Raspberry Dip. Arsenic and Old Lace offers Afterglow with Bourbon Marinated Pork Tenderloin, with Cranberry Chutney and Creamy Stuffed Strawberries And, at 5 Ojo, visitors will be served Pear Basil Swizzles with Tomato Tartlets and Tea Smoked Chicken.

Tickets are $25 per person, with discount packages provided for guest staying at participating lodgings.
