Al Green to Statehouse Convention Center

Posted By on Mon, Jul 26, 2010 at 12:52 PM

Looks like The Rev. is making a trip to Little Rock. A little research on Pollstar tells us that Mean Mr. Green will be in town on Thursday, October 28.

Great news. It seems Green's laid relatively low since the 2008 release of "Lay It Down," a ?uestlove-produced return to form and, already, an under-appreciated soul classic.

That said, the last we heard from him was an appearance on BBC's "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross," running through "Let's Stay Together" with David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd), and Jools Holland.
