Posted By on Tue, Aug 10, 2010 at 2:08 PM

Local songman Justin Carr returns to stage after a years-long absence with his new band, Troubadour. They play White Water Tavern with rockabilly overlords Josh the Devil and the Sinners, 10 p.m., donations.

Long Beach, California, comes to Hot Springs as Free Moral Agents, a project led by Mars Volta keyboardist Ikey Owens, performs with Nocando, underground rap battle virtuoso and 2007 Scribble Jam champ, 8 p.m., $5.

Dave Elswick's monthly movie series continues at Market Street Cinema with the western classic, "Shane," 7 p.m., $5.

And if facing towards a stage isn't your bag, karaoke's in full effect tonight at Cornerstone Pub in Argenta, Prost in the River Market and Denton's Trotline in Benton. All at 8 p.m., all free.
