Anthemic pop-rockers Thriving Ivory (right) headline a three-act bill at Juanita's that includes "Rock Star: Supernova" contestant Ryan Star and folk-driven locals Free Micah, 9 p.m., $15.

Vino's is the go-to spot for up-and- coming troubadours; the brewpub offers an open mic night at 8 p.m., free.

Local songcrafter Adam Faucett heads to Hot Springs for a free show at Maxine's alongside prog-y instrumentalists Sound of the Mountain, 9 p.m.

Alan Hunt Band takes its twang-heavy country rock to Town Pump, 10 p.m., $3.

The Dr. Rex Bell Jazz Trio smooths things out at The Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5, while the Ted Ludwig Trio jazzes up the Capital Bar and Grill, 5 p.m., free.
