... "Degrees of Density: Selections from the Flatfiles of the Kentler International Drawing Space." The exhibit of works on paper at the Arkansas Arts Center includes the above, of which the exhibit information says:


In Hovey Brock’s delicate watercolor (2001), an aggregate is comprised of faintly tinted dots; each varies in degrees of translucency against their bright white background.


Hence the name of the exhibit from the Brooklyn gallery. The show goes down Aug. 22, as does "The Miniature Worlds of Bruce Metcalf," pins placed in theatrical settings.
