Fistful of Mercy, the new Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur, Dhani Harrison 'supergroup' playing WM3 rally

The brand spanking new super-group of sorts Fistful of Mercy will make its second ever live performance Saturday at "Voices for Justice," the rally for the WM3 at Robinson Center. The group includes Ben Harper, singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison (George Harrison's strikingly similar looking son). The trio's debut show came Tuesday night in LA in a live taping that was broadcast on KCRW today. Listen here.

At 10 p.m. Thursday there were still tickets available. But with a line-up that includes Natalie Maines, Patti Smith, Johnny Depp, these guys and Eddie Vedder, who I hear is the driving force behind recruiting all the "special guests" and is already in town, you gotta think they'll be gone soon.

Watch a video of Fistful of Mercy doing what sounds like its theme song on the jump.
