In Hot Springs, lauded experimental-ambient heroes Hammock (above) return for a much-anticipated show at Maxine’s; local slow-core duo Blue Screen Skyline provide support, 9 p.m., $8 adv., $10 d.o.s.
There’s a new weekly party in town: “Luxe” (as in “de-luxe”) debuts at the Bill St. Grill and Pub; trumpet-driven soul/R&B act Rodney Block and the Real Music Lovers join soulstress Jeron and DJ Mike Blaze to provide the night’s soundtrack, 9 p.m.
