Weekend: The Legendary Shack Shakers,"Jamaica Me Crazy," Sub Kulture 4,

The Legendary Shack Shakers (above), rockabilly revivalists with an extra dash of chic grit, return to Hot Springs alongside the banjo-driven, hard country rock of Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies at Maxine's, 8 p.m., $8 adv., $10 d.o.s.

Juanita's hosts a reggae night, "Jamaica Me Crazy," with music from Ras Levi, DJ Apples and Butterfly feat. Irie Soul, 8 p.m., $10.

Tonya Leeks & Co. combine soul, jazz and funk at The Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7.

Local singer/songwriter Shannon McClung performs for Cregeen's Irish Pub in Argenta, 8:30 p.m., free.

It's a "gathering of the family" when Downsouth Juggaloz, Lo Thraxx, Intoxxx and Vivo Reckords bombard Downtown Music Hall, 8 p.m., $7.

SATURDAY 10/9

Miss Selma's School hosts "Taste of 'T' Street," an outdoor event with live music, food, kids' entertainment, crafts and games, 4 p.m., free.

The RunWild 5K returns to Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts, 8 a.m., $25 adv., $30 d.o.s.

The "Thunder at the Rock" Airshow takes to the Little Rock Air Force Base, showcasing dozens of high-tech aircraft as well as performances by the USAF Thunderbirds and US Army Golden Knights, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., free.

Sub Kulture 4, the ongoing dance party, returns to Revolution with DJs Red Six, Sleek and Wolf-E-Wolf in the booth, 9 p.m., $8.

Discovery gets music from Michael Shane in the disco; Sleepy Genius and Jake Martin in the lobby; Brandon Peck in the new hip-hop room; and Skye O'Harra, Veronica Duvall, Leah Alize and Lady FatCat emceeing the theater, 10 p.m., $10.
