Candy fans, forgive the dead air on the blog. I've been otherwise occupied and out of town.

If you haven't been to Gallery 26 (2601 Kavanaugh Blfd.) to see its "Holiday Art Show" with work by more artists than you can splatter paint from a coffee can at, here's an example of what you're missing: What passes for hip-hop at the gallery.
