Coal to Diamonds

  • A little Teen Beat-y, no?

There’s no US release date that I can find, but we’ve got the cover image and a synopsis for “Coal to Diamonds,” the Beth Ditto memoir co-written by “hipster dyke novelist” Michelle Tea that we told you about last year.

“My life was supposed to be simple and non-negotiable: birth, church, work, marriage, kids, death. But along the way something happened. COAL INTO DIAMONDS is my story – growing up feeling like you are on the margins of society and struggling to find your place. My memoir talks directly to disenfranchised, misunderstood kids everywhere.”

Not sure about the discrepancy between the title in the synopsis and on the cover. Maybe the cover is not actually final.
